We bought this from Monte. This is one of the famed Dick Elverud 3.5 L engines that was from Monte Shelton's RSR from the IMSA- Rose Cup days. It was removed and replaced with a twin turbo engine. Dick tells me It has max 6 hrs on it from fresh with new J&E pistons and new Mahle 100 mm barrels, built on a 3.2 case and 3.3 crank, solid rockers, all the good stuff, including the Factory RSR slide valve and RSR pump, flat fan and so on. I will keep the alternator, oil filter housing, the valve cover that the injection pump sits on and possibly the flat fan assembly (this last item is optional as some of you may know we have reproduced entire flat fan assemblies). Let me know if you have any interest. I paid 100K for this so the parts won’t be a gift but maybe you need it or part of it less the items I will keep.

It has since had the complete injection and flat fan removed, the long block is complete with twin plug dist. and harness and headers.
